Bahrain's dollar bond issuance hits USD2b

Bahrain was announced to have registered USD2 billion through the first U.S. dollar bond issuance following an assistance worth USD10 billion that the GCC nation received from its Gulf neighbors.
Reports revealed that Bahrain witnessed the selling of USD1 billion Islamic bonds that are due in 2027 and presenting 4.5 percent of yields.
Conventional notes worth USD1 billion were also sold, maturing in 2031 and offering 5.625 percent, as reports unveiled.
Arrangements for the issuance were made by BNP Paribas, Citi, Gulf International Bank, JPMorgan, National Bank of Bahrain and Standard Chartered.
