Egypt’s Misr Insurance won an insurance policy bid of 3 billion Egyptian pounds ($174.5 million) for judges supervising the referendum on the country’s constitutional amendments, sources said on Sunday.
The insurance policy will cover the risks of death and total or permanent partial disability for around 3,000 judges working in the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority, the sources told Amwal Al Ghad.
“The policy also includes coverage of risks related to terrorist attacks and damages that may occur to the judges,” they said.
