Egypt – Health insurance prices up by 35%
Tuesday, 02 27 2018, Category: Insurance and Reinsurance, Country: Egypt
Health insurance companies had to increase their prices by up to 35% in order to compensate the significant increases in losses whereas other insurers imposed deductibles ranging between 5% to 20%.
The deductible is paid by the customer or beneficiary when he receives treatment from health providers such as hospitals, clinics, and labs, so insurers will pay the remaining amount according to the insurance contract signed.
