UAE - Salama's board recommends 3% dividends for H1-20

The board of Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) has recommended to pay out cash dividends, equivalent to 3% of the capital, for the first half (H1) of 2020.
The cash dividend distribution stands at AED 0.03 per share, aggregating at an amount of AED 36.3 million, according to the company's disclosure to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Thursday.
The proposal is subject to the approval of the Securities and Commodities Authority.
It is noteworthy to mention that in the first six months of 2020, Salama reported net profits of AED 47.05 million, compared to AED 33.33 million in the same period of 2019.
