IMF grants nearly $750m to Tunisia to fight covid19

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board meeting on Friday in Washington gave its approval for the release of nearly $750 million to Tunisia, Finance Minister Nizar Yaïche told TAP.
He specified that the amount granted to Tunisia will be fixed definitively, by tomorrow morning, according to the rate of the basket of currencies adopted by the International Monetary Fund. This financing will be released next week, within the framework of the IMF's Rapid Financing Instrument (RFI) to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
