UAE – Following ins. complaints through text messages

The Insurance Authority allows local policyholders to send their complaints through mobile phone text messages in order to resolve disputes.
It clarified to “Al Roeya” that the Authority developed a mechanism to resolve disputes and receive complaints through the electronic system or the mobile phone application or even by calling by phone. This mechanism helped solve 99 percent of complaints even though the number of these complaints increased by around 10%.
Furthermore, the experts said that most of the complaints received by the Insurance Authority are immediately treated to come up with direct solutions.
