The cooperative council of health insurance decided not to allow the employer to charge the employee for a part of the insurance premium in the private sector. It indicated that it is compulsory for the employer to insure its employee, his spouse and male children until age of 25 year and the non-married daughters.
Moreover, the council indicated that the employer cannot define a maximum age for health insurance.
Furthermore, it confirmed that insurance should not cover the parents of the employee. The new modified health insurance contract will be implemented starting with the next month of July and will cover dental care, psychiatric cases, heart problems, autism and newborns for 30 days.
