Some health facilities refused to accept the health insurance cards of a number of insureds even though their cards are valid. Therefore, the general secretariat of the council of cooperative health insurance met to settle 50 cases of conflict that took place last month.
The spokesman of the council of cooperative health insurance Mr. Yasser al-Ma'arek said that the council obliged the health insurance companies to secure a minimum number of health service providers in order to offer the health insurance services in all the cities of the Kingdom, which should include all levels of service according to the conditions of the unified insurance contract. The minimum number of health care providers should be 34.
