Economists welcomed the decision of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) to implement the saudization of all jobs related to individual insurance sales as well as liberal professions’ companies.
They confirmed that the insurance sector would help employ Saudi men and women in a promising market in light of the expectations for the next few years including the royal decision to grant both Females and Males driving licenses.
Moreover, Mr. Adel Al Issa, the media spokesperson of insurance companies revealed that the saudization of insurance jobs reached 58% by year end 2016 and will reach 65% by year end 2017, indicating that the preparedness differs from company to company as some companies have a high saudization ratio and won’t need that much efforts in this regard.
