Saudi Arabia – Exclusions refrain physicians
Monday, 07 31 2017, Category: Insurance and Reinsurance, Country: Saudi Arabia
Despite the positive impacts of medical insurance on the lives of many persons who would not have access to treatment in the basic medical centers without this insurance contract, most of the insured in the Arab region do not get sufficient health care services. Therefore, the question is about the capacity of insurance companies to impose their profit plans on legislations and markets. Some have even said that the control of insurance companies over health services reached a point where physicians are starting to move away from the ethical treatment of patients and follow exclusively the health contract, which usually only offers the minimum benefits in more than 75% of health insurance contracts in KSA.
