Monday, 04 10 2017, Category: Insurance and Reinsurance, Country: Saudi Arabia
The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance first addressed health insurance companies about their non-cooperation in the treatment of psychiatric patients in private clinics. Moreover, the council warns to suspend the services of non-complying insurers as well as their withdrawal from business.
This coincides with the celebration of the World’s Health Day noting that mental depression is considered by the World Health Organization as threatening humanity during the future years.
The warning of the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance follows the enforcement of the treatment of psychiatric cases within the health insurance contract in order to offer treatment for both citizens and residents.
