Saturday, 03 04 2017, Category: Insurance and Reinsurance, Country: Saudi Arabia
The secretary general of the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers, Mr. Issam Al Mubarak said that the previous evaluations of motor accidents did not follow the international standards applying to the determination of damage that affects vehicles. Therefore, the result was either overestimation or underestimation of the damage. The direct effect was a significant increase in insurance claims. For this reason the state had to intervene in order to improve the motor damage evaluations related to motor accidents by collaborating with all the related competent parties.
