Dubai Health Authority expands insurance services

The Dubai Health Authority extended the scope of health services offered to the public, society and individuals covered by health insurance in order to provide quality services. Therefore, the Authority made a number of agreements with “Nextcare” and 34 insurance companies in order to provide health services to the insured in the Emirate of Dubai according to the highest levels and the different insurance needs. The Dubai Health Authority started offering services related to emergency and accident since the last month of May in the Rashid hospital as well as the Latifa hospital where treatment was offered to approximately 5000 patients through health insurance companies.
HE Hamid Al Qatami, Dubai Health Authority Chairman said that the Authority is in the process of developing the health insurance system in order to secure the wellbeing of society and a healthy lifestyle. He indicated that the hospitals and medical centers run by the authority have excellent capabilities, equipment and staff that allow them to serve the health insurance beneficiaries in Dubai and provide the best health services according to progressive steps in order to guarantee quality and provide comprehensive health care.
