Oman – Regulator adopted insurance service quality manual

According to the vision of the Capital Market Authority, which wants to boost the quality of insurance services provided to customers and help insurers honor their insurance liabilities as well as follow the technological advances in customer service, the CMA issued a manual of guidelines on insurance service quality. The manual covers the minimum standards of service quality provided by companies and insurance intermediaries in the Sultanate.
About the importance of these standards the Director General of Insurance Supervision at the Capital Market Authority Mr. Ahmed Ali Al Mamari said that the objective of estimating the level of service and working continuously on its improvement as well as gaining customer satisfaction is to support the competitive environment of the insurance market in order to improve the performance of customer experience.
