“Africa Re” targets premiums of USD 722 million by end of current year

The African Reinsurance Company “Africa Re” targets premiums of USD 722 million by the end of the current year compared to USD 689 million last year.
Mr. Omar Gouda, the Regional Director of “Africa Re” says that the results of the company last year indicated that total premiums written reached USD 689, which is equivalent approximately to the levels of year 2014.
The net profits of the company reached USD 104 million and the technical profit reached USD 77 million whereas the investments of the company reached USD 1.1 billion by year end 2015. The profit distributed in the last general assembly reached USD 6 for every stockshare.
