Saudi Arabia – Medical records govern insurance prices of domestic workers
Monday, 08 01 2016, Category: Insurance and Reinsurance, Country: Saudi Arabia
Insurance companies compels families and offices that wish to insure their Male and Female domestic workers to declare the absence of medical cases such as chronic diseases, previous surgical operations, which will help price insurance policies. In case medical records are manipulated or medical information is concealed, the insurance company can decline treatment or set a new price that matches the medical situation.
According to information available at “Makkah Newspaper”, the annual medical insurance price for domestic workers ranges between SAR 2,100 and SAR 4,300. However, the price can decrease if the number of insured increases at the concerned employment offices.
