Hospitals and medical centers impose conditions verbally or through internal contracts on the physicians they employ in order to provide overtreatment or reach a minimum level of required revenue and profits against a commission. This practice is against the laws and regulations.
The Ministry of Health & Prevention confirmed to “Al Roeya” that the targets fixed on physicians by hospitals and medical organizations are against the medical licensing laws covering physicians at medical facilities.
It clarified that insurance companies have the right to reject financial amounts resulting from medical facilities, which exploit insurance contracts.
