Egypt – 25% increase in health insurance prices

Insurance companies operating in the local market practicing health insurance increased the prices of health insurance coverage by 25% in the beginning of the current year as a result of the 20% price increases that affected the different pharmaceuticals below EGP 30.
Health care service companies selling health insurance under the “HMO” model have also health service price increases 15% in the new contracts that will start in the beginning of July and end in June triggering a 25% in health insurance price increases.
