Saudi Arabia – 20% insurance growth and 2030 Vision boosts performance

Mr. Raed Al-Tamimi the Chief Executive Officer of the Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) and head of the general committee of insurance companies said that the insurance sector is keen on supporting national professionals from both genders and works on presenting available positions in the insurance sector to young employment seekers who are registered in the incentive program of the Human Resources Development Fund “HADAF” in order to increase Saudization in the sector.
He stressed that insurance companies are aiming at increasing the participation of national citizens in the sector which is currently at 60% in order to match the Saudization percentage in other sectors supervised by “SAMA”, indicating that one of the objectives of the system and its regulations is to develop the insurance sector in the KSA including training and employing nationals.
