Saudi insurers: 2030 Vision pathway for advancement

The media spokesman of insurance companies Mr. Adel Al-Issa confirmed that “KSA’s Vision 2030” announced by the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who is head of the council of Economic and Developmental Affairs is a model of sound planning and represents a clear vision that analyzed all the aspects of life in the Kingdom. It also set a blueprint to protect, develop and improve all these aspects.
Mr. Al-Issa revealed that the insurance sector had a large share in this vision where the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman showed a clear interest in it given the impact on large segments of citizens and residents indicating that “KSA’s Vision 2030” confirmed the necessity of expanding the coverage of beneficiaries in the health insurance system and easing access to service, decreasing waiting periods, and training physicians as well as raising their capacities to deal with chronic diseases which constitute a challenge and risk to the health of citizens such as heart diseases, diabetes and cancer.
