Saudi Arabia – 17 parties unite against insurance prices

A committee established by the Jeddah Chamber tackling private sector challenges discussed in its first meeting the insurance price increases as well as their implication on a sector comprising 330 companies.
The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry established a committee comprising 17 government parties in order to tackle the hurdles of the private sector, promote business performance, and serve businessmen and businesswomen. The committee will study the hurdles facing the private sector with government officials.
The committee convened lately with a team that will include transport committees, car dealers, SAMA with the support of the Jeddah and Asharqia chambers in order to address the motor insurance price increases in the public and inland transportation. This insurance problem is the first priority of the committee.
