In line with the government objective of improving the services offered to citizens along with the public’s participating in the sustainability of these services according to the campaign “The country needs you” launched by the Iraqi media network, the ministry of health called upon all the parties of the country to implement health insurance for their employees.
The official spokesperson of the ministry Dr. Ahmad Al Rudaini clarified in a special statement to “Al Sabah” newspaper that his ministry communicated an invitation to all enterprises in the country to offer health insurance for their employees as was the case for the employees of the ministries of oil and electricity.
The mentioned system includes levying a symbolic fee from every employee in order to settle it to an insurance company, which will then reimburse the physician fee as has been the case in all the countries of the world, indicating that his ministry prepared a law in this spirit and sent it to parliament for review.
