Algeria – Paying electronically for motor insurance

Insurance entities are preparing an agreement with two public banks and a foreign bank to provide electronic payment for all insurance branches including motor insurance. This service is expected to be launched in the beginning of the next month of June. At the same time Crédit populaire d'Algérie will allow electronic payment for all insurance companies.
Mr Hassan Khelifati, CEO of Alliance Assurance told “Ennahar” newspaper that his company considers the possibility of setting motor insurance premiums electronically in the future where every citizen who has an electronic payment card will be able to insure his car through banks.
