KSA – 1585 complaints against insurers in a year

The General Secretariat of the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance received 1585 complaints from citizens and residents against “health insurance” companies in the year 1435 Hijri.
An official from the Secretariat revealed that most of the complaints originated from the non-indemnification of treatment with a total of 977 complaints, 204 financial claim complaints, 190 complaints for the non-coverage of employees and their families, 8 complaints for the suspension of health insurance service providers, 34 complaints for canceling insurance, 15 complaints for the absence of service, and the remaining complaints came for different reasons.
