United Arab Emirates – 130,000 People to Benefit from the “Saada” Health Insurance

Al Bayan learned from informed sources that the Dubai Health Authority intends to launch the “Saada” health insurance program for citizens of the Emirate of Dubai with no health insurance. Registration in the program will be through identity cards, as part of the framework to provide comprehensive health insurance for all citizens and residents and which will be completed by the middle of next year. Sources also expect the number of beneficiaries of the “Saada” health program to reach 130,000 citizens.
Sources have said that the project has reached its final stages and will be officially announced soon so that all citizens of the emirate with no health insurance will be able to join the program. Sources have also mentioned that the “Inayah” program will remain as is noting that the “Saada” health insurance program is for citizens of Dubai with no health insurance.
They also stated that registration in the program will be available through the website and mobile applications as soon as the launch of the program is officially announced. They additionally noted that the information that was circulating yesterday on social media caused disruptions for Nad Al Hamar, Al Badaa, Al Barsha and Al Mizhar Health Centers due to the large number of inquiries that came in which caused their telephone lines to be busy around the clock. Sources also shared that the Dubai Health Authority has already tried this program in the aforementioned health centers but they didn’t announce it officially and they didn’t require citizens to register in the program.
