Insurance companies revealed a change in the policies followed with private hospitals, which will be implemented with the start of the next calendar year. This will include the control of hospitals and health enterprises which are thought to manipulate treatment and revert to judicial courts, if necessary. They also announced that they intend to stop transactions with specific private hospitals after receiving complaints from patients. Many tweets on “Twitter” testified that patients confirmed that hospitals are exploiting “insurance companies” abusively.
The manager of an insurance company Abdul Rahman Al Suleiman clarified to “Al Hayat” that “with the start of the new calendar year there will be a change in the policies of many insurance companies, which will include the supervision of hospitals especially given the fact that losses are significantly increasing on a yearly basis”.
